Talent

TalentedTeam is designed to help manage and understand the skills and ability of the talent in your organisation. Staff, casual employees, contractors, potential employees and partners all contribute to the talent available to your organisation and understanding this talent is important to operate at you best.

TalentedTeam can be used to search and find pockets of talent in your organisation that might be needed for new projects, customer proposals, un-filled roles or as part of defining your organisational strategy.

You can also create templates for your organisation so you can download and present your team’s talents is a consistent, stylised and professional looking profile that can be added to proposals or tender responses or sent to clients to promote your organisations skills.

The first step in using TalentedTeam is to start to add your talent and then fill out their profile with a short summary of their abilities, their work history, education and skills.

Adding Talent

To add talent your first step is to navigate to the ‘Talent’ tab menu found in the menu bar. This page will list all of the active talent in your organisation, sorted with the most recent changes at the top. This is useful for discovering new talents, that is, when your staff update their profile with new skills and experience, TalentedTeam will show them at the top.

Click the “Add Talent” tile to start the on-boarding process. TalentedTeam will open a form for you to enter the details of your newest team member.

Fill in the form including the first name and surname. You can optionally add a department if you want to be able to remember which department or business unit your staff belongs to. This is useful when you need to search across your organisation for staff in other areas of the business.

The email address will automatically fill from the name but you can change it if you need.

The final option is the “Send Invite” checkbox. You can use this to automatically send an invite to the team member so they can create their own password and login to start to use TalentedTeam. If you do not select the “Send Invite” checkbox, no invite will be sent but the team member will be added and an invite can be sent later. This is useful if you are looking to create a profile of a potential team member or a contractor who might not otherwise have their own login access to TalentedTeam.

Once created, you will be presented the profile page to begin completing the details of their skills, education and experience.

It should be noted that the new Talent will be added as a status of “Candidate” to start with. See Talent lifecycle here for more information on the various status of TalentedTeam talent.
